Wanaka has had its fair share of inversions of late – a layer of cloud trapped below slightly warmer air above. The grey cloud layer above the town lets little sun through. As a result those of us on the ground feel the cold.
Despite the temperature the MenShed team at the Wanaka Community Workshop continue to design and built a range of community projects. That said the team are wrapped up – base layers, puffer jackets, gloves, hats along with hot drinks.
It’s great to have a dedicated team.
